MediSend address
Verified organizations and privacy
The badge means MediSend reviewed identity, healthcare registration and authority to represent the organization. It is not a clinical recommendation.
How verification works
- 1Open Settings → Verification and check the legal name, registration number, address and work contact.
- 2Upload a PDF or image of a document clearly identifying the organization and representative.
- 3An authorized MediSend reviewer checks the details and evidence. Ordinary support staff cannot access the document.
- 4After approval, the organization is marked as verified and can be found by other MediSend participants.
Verification is not automatic and has no promised turnaround time currently. The page shows status and any missing steps.
What MediSend checks
The review covers legal identity, an appropriate official source for healthcare activity, authority to represent the organization and control of an organization contact. Submitting details or a document alone does not grant a badge. Verification is not a licence, accreditation, recommendation or government approval.
States
- Unverified — verification can be started.
- Under review — evidence is being reviewed; the organization is not yet in the verified network.
- Verified organization — the decision is active until the displayed date.
- Verification needs renewal — start renewal before the grace period ends.
- Correction required or rejected — review the reason shown and submit corrected details.
- Suspended or withdrawn — the organization cannot be selected as a verified recipient.
When the badge is removed
Changes to the name, legal details, MediSend address, location, work contact or website end active verification. Existing handovers and legitimate access remain, but the organization must be verified again.
Why patients are not searchable
The directory lists professional organizations. Patient access is issued for one handover through a code, PIN or protected link.
