1. Different timelines
A link or key expiry ends particular access without destroying a file. Archiving retains content and may require preparation before downloading. Deletion is a separate verified operation. The standard model supports 60 active days and 365 total retention days, but the specific plan, setting, contract and applicable law determine the actual period. These defaults are not statutory medical-archive advice.
2. Accounts, evidence and history
Deleting a personal account does not erase organization files, other people’s memberships or accounting documents. Ownership, access, export and lawful instructions must be resolved first. Unlinking deletes neither account. Limited consent, security, contract and revocation records may remain for an approved purpose.
Raw professional-verification evidence has a removal process after 90 days from submission; an unfinished review with expired evidence requires fresh submission. Decisions and minimal history are managed separately. Invoices and tax records follow applicable legal periods to be confirmed by accounting/legal advisers.
3. Deletion, copies and holds
Deletion requires satisfied conditions and a verified basis. File content is removed from primary storage; minimal identifiers, hashes and operation evidence may remain. Backups follow a separately approved schedule and are isolated from daily access. Restorations reapply deletions and revocations.
Legal or incident holds are limited, documented and reviewed and confer no new right to routine use. Exact backup, log, support and linking-consent schedules and removal operations must be confirmed before publication. An unverified schedule is not presented as an achieved guarantee.
4. Trial, non-payment and export
Trial expiry and non-payment restrict future organizational work according to displayed dates and states. They do not independently change lawful retention or cause immediate deletion. The customer arranges export of records it must retain outside MediSend; termination periods and procedures are confirmed in the contract.
