How do I use a sending or request template?
A template saves general text, expiry, permissions and a partner contact. It does not copy current files, patient details, PINs or protected links.
Create and reuse
Open Templates. After creating an email handover you can also use Save these settings as a template; use the request’s template action for a file request. Give it a recognizable name and general text for future work. Optionally select a contact and save. Select the template next time and check the applied contact, expiry and permissions. A template does not save current files or replace the draft.
Edit, duplicate and delete
Available actions depend on your role. Changes affect the team template; deleting it does not revoke existing handovers or requests. Give a duplicate a distinct name and check its recipient.
Before sending
Do not put patient names, case-specific clinical text or secrets in a reusable template. Check the current contact, expiry and permissions. A template neither sends automatically nor grants medical access.
