For doctors and specialists
How does a doctor return a result or request a file?
Open the examination and choose Reply to sender or Request an additional file when permitted. Replies remain in the same exchange; a personal note is not sent.
Work on the examination
Choose Reply to sender to open the return-files form. Personal note is a separate shortcut and is not sent to the clinic. These actions remain separate on a phone.
Return a result
- 1Check the sender’s request and access expiry.
- 2In Return files, choose the file needed and optionally add a reply note.
- 3Send and wait for confirmation. Returned files are also checked before download.
Missing file
Choose Request an additional file, describe exactly what is missing and send the request. It reaches the sender in the same exchange. It grants no access to other patients or files; the clinic adds the authorized material.
Reply note and personal note
A note sent with the result is shared with the clinic. Personal note is a separate action and is not sent. If a reply action is missing, check permissions, expiry and whether the handover is closed; contact the sender.
Before leaving the page
An unsent message, selected files and an additional-file description have not been submitted or persistently saved. Decline a leave warning to keep working. If you confirm leaving without saving, the browser’s Forward action does not restore the discarded draft. Use the separate save action for a personal note.
Ready to continue?
Open the relevant workspace. Your current role and access still apply.
