The CBCT archive and referral reach the chosen specialist.
Organize the CBCT archive, referral and supporting images as a specific handover. Choose expiry and whether the specialist can return an opinion or file.
Clinic sending uses a paid plan. Eligible organizations can activate a trial after review and explicit confirmation. Personal doctor receiving is free.
In everyday practice
How it works
Gather the required files
Add the prepared CBCT archive, referral and necessary images. Check archive completeness and the permitted size.
Choose the specialist
Find a verified professional who has opted into the directory, or use a manually entered contact after your own checks.
Follow the response
Allow returned files when required. The response and technical history remain within that specific exchange.

A PRACTICAL GUIDE
Prepare the files and follow the real state of the exchange.
What belongs in the handover
Include only the files required for the task. Use a clear internal reference and check the recipient before confirming. Keep patient details out of public URLs and general support requests.
A CBCT archive may require downloading and specialist software. The PDF referral and supported images can be previewed in MediSend when permissions and security checking allow it.
Professional identity and file permission
Professional verification independently reviews submitted professional details. Directory visibility requires the specialist’s separate choice. It helps identify a recipient and is not an assessment of clinical quality.
The sender grants access to specific files, for a defined period and permitted actions. Other clinic memberships, verification and saved contacts do not broaden those rights.
When the exchange is complete
Opening a link, downloading an archive and receiving a response are separate technical events. When an opinion is expected, check the actual response instead of treating a download as a completed consultation.
For a missing file, use a permitted reply or additional-file request. The sender must authorize any renewed access after expiry for that specific handover.
