Deliver the DICOM examination with clear permissions and expiry.
Send the prepared DICOM archive and PDF report to the referring doctor or patient. The recipient downloads the permitted files and uses their specialist software.
Clinic sending uses a paid plan. Eligible organizations can activate a trial after review and explicit confirmation. Personal doctor receiving is free.

How it works
Prepare the export
Use your established DICOM export workflow. Check the archive in suitable specialist software before uploading.
Upload and check
Add the archive and PDF separately. Wait for uploading and security checking; 100% transfer does not yet mean a file is ready.
Grant access
Choose a specific recipient, expiry and downloading permission. Share the required SMS PIN separately from the link.

A PRACTICAL GUIDE
Prepare the files and follow the real state of the exchange.
Preserve the export structure
When an examination is a folder with many files, prepare an archive that preserves the required structure. Add the report as a separate PDF so the recipient can preview it before downloading the complete archive.
MediSend checks uploaded files for security. This does not establish clinical completeness, examination quality or patient identity. Those checks remain part of the healthcare organization’s workflow.
Downloading is an explicit permission
DICOM files are opened outside MediSend in suitable medical software. If downloading has not been allowed, the recipient must ask the sender to change permissions for that specific handover.
Revoking access prevents future opening through MediSend but does not erase previously downloaded copies. Confirm the intended recipient and purpose before sharing.
Investigate interruptions before making new copies
After an interruption, check the saved upload and follow its offered recovery using the same file. Review individual file limits, remaining plan allowance and security-check status before starting a new upload.
After sending, compare email or SMS delivery status separately with access history. An accepted notification does not establish delivery, downloading or clinical review.
